New facebook group

I just started my facebook group for Mairead. It has all kinds of information and links on Mairead. It is open to anyone who wants to join and support Mairead. See link above and at the right.


The Songs From The Heart PBS airings started yesterday. Hope everyone gets a chance to watch it because it is a show you will never forget. No one else can perform at the level of the Celtic Woman. Check your local PBS for when it will be on inyour area.

Lighting of National Christmas Tree

On December 3rd. the Celtic Woman will perform at the lighting of the National Christmas tree.This will be live on-line so do not miss it. But if you do miss it, no worry, various PBS stations will televise it after the live show.

Isle Of Hope tour completed

We all know that the Isle Of Hope tour is done and the ladies will be going home soon. I hope everyone had the chance to see them, but if not, they will be back in February. I was able to see them 7 times this year and I met Alex twice and Chloe once. Both ladies are so nice and I really enjoyed talking to them. One thing I like about the Celtic Woman is they sing positive and spiritual (not religious) songs and they really care about others, plus they have the most beautiful voices I have heard.

Now I met Mairead 4 times this year. I cannot explain how sweet and kind she is. I could not pull myself away because I enjoyed it so much. At first I was nervous and thought I would say something stupid. That was not the case. She made me feel so relaxed and I could tell that she is so sincere.

The first time I met her was informal outside one of the venues. Now for someone as popular as Mairead to stop and talk to a fan is just awesome. The other three times were at M&G.

The Celtic Woman will be introducing an updated website today so make sure you check it out. If I understand my email correctly, it should have the Songs From The Heart schedule and the PBS airings.

Starting a facebook for Mairead

I am working on a facebook group for Mairead that will be called Mairead Nesbitt 4 Life. I already have it started but it is still locked until I get it done. Since I am new at this stuff I am learning through trial and error. It may be a few weeks before it is completed.

Looks a little more like a blog now

I found out that this is not as hard as I thought. I plan to add more music and a few other links. But the next two projects I plan to add is a slideshow and music.

Just Getting Started

I am not really that computer literate but thought I would try my hand at this. Not sure what I would say either but as time goes by and I get my blog designed how I want, I will pick up on my posting.
